Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society's AnnualConferences are about learning skills, gaining perspectives,and having fun. The 2007 conference to be held inNorfolk, Nebraska, will be no exception. This year, we willwelcome Dan Imhoff, President of the Wild Farm Alliance,author and publisher of numerous books and articles on"reconnecting food systems and ecosystems." In addition to the keynote address, conference participantswill have the opportunity to choose between fourdifferent tracks: Food and Health Connections, AlternativeEnergy Options for Small Farms, Alternative FarmingOpportunities, and new this year, a youth track withprograms on soil, water, forestry, wildlife and sustainableagriculture. In addition to our keynote, confirmed speakersinclude; Tilak Dhiman, Dr. Richard Franssen, Dr. Vonk,Laura Pales, Kevin Fulton, and Brooke Levley.

Tradition continues with two exciting auction fundraisersand an all-Nebraska sustainable Banquet. OnFriday night, February 9, there will be a live auction withitems ranging from beautiful prints to organic/sustainableproducts to agritourism experiences. On Saturday,February 10, we will have our traditional silent auctionfeaturing, books, products, livestock, prints, goods fromNebraska farms and restaurants and more.

The entertainment for Friday evening followingthe banquet will be BEAT, an unique percussion groupcomprised of youth from Ainsworth, Nebraska.
